Based on proven VLM technology, we re-engineered the system to achieve tremendous increases in flexibility, reliability and productivity.

Our patented Cross-bay Technology™ is what makes the SMARTdepot™ different from any other VLM on the market. Our dual-bay design literally doubles the storage capacity of typical single bay units. Then to maximize productivity, our SMART design lets one or more operators retrieve product from any storage bay to any access opening at the same time even on multiple floors.

Our SMARTdepot vertical storage systems are the smart, versatile choice for high-demand automated storage and retrieval applications:

• Multiple bays (up to four) and 40-foot maximum height for optimized storage capacity in a small footprint.
  
  
• Modular design enables broad configuration flexibility for optimum productivity, with single or multiple access openings on multiple floors or room to room (pass-through).
  
  
• Items are delivered to the operator at a user-customizable ergonomically correct waist-high position, reducing walking, climbing, bending or reaching for heavy or dangerous objects.
  
  
• Increase picking productivity up to 3.5 times over static solutions and 50% over single bay technology.
  
  
• Smart-access™ Control System customizes numerous settings for each operator, enabling restricted tray locations, assigned tray locations, password protected tray numbers, user-defined delivery heights and many other personalized functions.
